The vessel SS Corfu Island has been assessed as a hazard to public safety by Canadian Coast Guard under the Wrecked, Abandoned or Hazardous Vessels Act. The bow of the wreck is located on the beach at position 47 20.813N 061 57.014W and the wreck extends seaward in a southwesterly direction over 137.5 metres in length and 17.5 metres in width. It is forbidden to access or climb it for any reason. Mariners are requested to keep a wide berth from the wreckage.

Underwater Cable installed between Haggard Cove (48 57.733N 125 01.200W) and Huu-ay-aht (48 53.783N 125 01.033W).

A subsurface scientific platform has been deployed in the vicinity of Yuquot at 49 33.702N 126 39.831W depth of 46 metres

A subsurface oceanographic mooring have been deployed 1 meter from the sea floor off  Soquel Bank off Pachena Point at 48 41.534N 125 06.415W.

Sub-Surface mooring has been deployed at depth of 158 metres at  49 00.684N 126 30.230W

Scientific mooring deployed in the vicinity of 56 19.265N 059 50.318W with top floatation 200 meters off the bottom.

Caution.

CHS surveys have determined that the charted depth in Justkatla Inlet at 53 37.647N 132 19.429W is shoaler than charted at a depth of 2.9 metres

Permanently relocated to 45 41.281N 073 28.035W approximately 811 metres southwest

Canadian Coast Guard Marine Communications and Traffic Services have been using all Canadian Hydrographic Service water-level stations for the calculation of passage authorizations in the Sorel–Montreal sector of the navigational waterway, namely Sorel, Contrecoeur, Varennes, Montreal-Frontenac and Montreal-Jetty No. 1.

In light of the particular features of the navigational waterway in the portion between buoys M84 (downstream of the municipality of Verchères) and M11 (downstream of the Bellmouth curve), it was agreed to adjust upward the available water column by 10 cm in this portion.

The minimum water column in this portion of the navigational waterway as per the Contrecœur hydrographic station, obtained after adjustment, will be used for the calculation of under-keel clearance.
