A partially submerged embedded piling has been reported north of Pylades Island in the vicinity of 49 04.249N 123 41.128W. The piling is 30 cm in diameter, with 4 large spikes extending outward.

ODAS mooring deployed at 47 50.843N, 46 51.329W . The ODAS buoy is a yellow spherical shaped buoy, measuring 0.9 meters in diameter, equipped with radar reflectors and a flashing light with characteristics flash yellow 5 times every 20 seconds.

Obstruction approximately 40 metres south of Long Wharf Slip breakwater in 45 16.39N 66 04.05W, at an elevation of approximately 2 metres below the surface at chart datum.
A sounding survey of the Miramichi Channel was completed by Public Services and Procurement Canada, in May 2022, on behalf of the Canadian Coast Guard. It was compared to Canadian Hydrographic Chart 4911-4912 and for Possible Hazards to Navigation. The following conditions were observed:

Inward shift of 22m between 47 07.652N 064 59.235W and 47 07.748N 064 59.307W.
