Day and night wharf related activities including wharf extension, construction of a new turning dolphin and a bridge, removal and replacement of existing fenders and installation of new mooring bollards in progress in Souris, PEI. There will be cranes on site and cautionary buoys to mark the area. Caution.

The buoy is located approximately midway between the west and east ends of the island.

Buoys in Hubbard's Cove unreliable
An array of dynamic positioning transponder beacons have been deployed in support of Equinor's drilling campaign in the vicinity of: 47 50.578N 047 05.083W.
Beacons extend above the sea floor by 5 meters.
Vessels shall maintain a wide berth of at least 500 meters from above listed position.

Caution
Subsurface scientific mooring in position 47 52.276N 047 10.671W extends from seabed to surface level and consists of a 0.9 meter spherical yellow surface marker with a yellow light sequence, flashing five times every 20 seconds.

The Transport Canada Standing Wharf located in Port McNeill in the vicinity of
50 35.540N 127 05.184W is closed to all marine and vehicle traffic due to wharf damage.
