Dredging operations underway west of Bliss Island.
Wharf construction at Little Narrows Gypsum mine will commence 21 June, 23. Daily operations from 1000UTC until 2000UTC. Spud barges, scows and tug boats will be in the area. Vessels will be monitoring VHF channel 16. Barges will be marked with flashing orange lights at night when not in operation.
Dredging operations in Egmont Bay small craft harbour, PEI, beginning June 15, 2023, 24 hours a day for approximately 3 weeks. Cutter suction dredge with pipeline disposal will be used. Orange floaters on disposal pipes and yellow cautionary buoys will surround the disposal area.
